3rd post — Seminar / セミナー
On Monday, June 8, 2026, I had the opportunity to give a research seminar titled “Micro-scale evolution of pore water characteristics in unsaturated sand under triaxial compression” at the geotechnical engineering group seminar of Politecnico di Milano. We received many insightful questions from various perspectives and had fruitful discussions on related topics, making it a very meaningful and valuable experience.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended the seminar, as well as Dr. Katia Boschi for coordinating and organizing the event.
2026年6月8日(月)にミラノ工科大学の地盤工学分野グループセミナーにおいて「Micro-scale evolution of pore water characteristics in unsaturated sand under triaxial compression」というタイトルで研究紹介させていただきました.様々な視点から質問をいただき,関連トピックの議論を行うことができて有意義な時間となりました.

We received the best paper award from “地盤と建設”, the journal of the Chugoku Branch of the Japanese Geotechnical Society. The award ceremony was held on Friday, April 24, and Mr. Takeru Tamaoki (M2), the first author of the paper, attended the ceremony. Congratulations, Tamaoki-san! 1st post — Research stay abroad (April – July 2026) / 在外研究
For collaborative research with Politecnico di Milano, I will be staying in Milan from April 8 to July 2, 2026.
This project is based on the JSPS Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Fund for the Promotion of Joint International Research (Fostering Joint International Research)) for the project entitled:
“Development of a Particle-Fluid Coupled Analysis Method for Predicting the Mud Film Formation Process Due to Slurry Infiltration”.
As a visiting researcher, I have been kindly provided with a private office and even some Polimi goods, and the people I will be working with are all extremely supportive and welcoming. I believe this will be an excellent environment for conducting research.
ミラノ工科大学との共同研究のため,2026年4月8日~7月2日までミラノに滞在します.
科研費・国際共同研究加速基金(国際共同研究強化)「研究課題:泥水浸潤による泥膜形成プロセスを予測する粒子-流体連成解析法の開発」のプロジェクトです.
客員教員として個室やPolimiグッズを用意していただき,共に研究する方々も非常に親身なので,良い環境で研究に取り組めそうです.
